Hello Bennett Families. Thank you to everyone that has supported the PTO this year through volunteering or financial donations. Through your support the PTO was able to provide the following for our teachers and families:

As the year comes to an end, I want to share an update for the end of the year PTO budget. During the week of May 11th, turf will be added to the Gaga Pit. Our students and teachers have been requesting improvements to this area of the playground. In addition, funds will also be used to paint games and activities on the playground for our Bears to enjoy for years to come. Also, two of the Bennett Gardens and Butterfly areas will soon have a fresh look for the Spring/Summer as details are being finalized with a landscaper.

I am excited to announce the start of a Bennett Brick area within the butterfly garden. The PTO will purchase two large bricks to honor our 5th Grade Class of 2020. The brick area will continue as a fundraiser for the PTO where Bennett teachers, current or former Bennett families, and community businesses can purchase a brick. Additional details for the brick area will be announced at the beginning of the 20/21 school year.

Lastly, your PTO will purchase grade level shirts for all of our returning Bears at the beginning of the school year. The school will have the new theme, “Build a Better You!” and we are excited to provide shirts that support this theme.
